Puerto Rico – What to do in the Puerto Rico Islands

Vieques Island is eight miles east of Puerto Rico, in the Caribbean. With its beaches and rolling hills, Vieques is growing in popularity among tourist. Mona island is located west of Puerto Rico in the Mona Passage; this island is one big nature preserve, situated on a flat plateau. If you are lucky, during your visit, you may get a glimpse of dolphins or humpback whales. Despite the approval process to visit Mona, the diving is believed to be some of the best in the Caribbean.

Culebra is seventeen miles east of Puerto Rico. This is a water-lover’s haven; popular activities includes snorkeling. diving and various water-sports. One of the main attractions is the beaches; which includes: Dakity Bay, Mosquito, Punta Soldado and Flamenco Beach. Visitors will find a variety of good restaurants and accommodations.

Jamaica in the Caribbean – Information and Facts

Jamaica is one of the most popular Caribbean Island destinations. Visitors will appreciate it as they experience Jamaica’s unique culture. In addition, visitors are attracted to the activities including: the shopping, water-sports and the nite-life. Jamaica is a proud country, with its  own unique history and culture. Negril is located on the west side of Jamaica. Negril has a laid-back atmosphere, making this a good place to meet locat residents. In addition, some of the nightclubs are located along Seven Mile Beach. Popular activities include  diving, sailing, windsurfing and  jet-skiing.

Ocho Rios was developed to be a resort; Before, Ocho Rios was once a sleepy fishing village, now it is a tourists trap with it own cruise ship port. Ocho Rios has plenty of bars, fast-food chains, restaurants and  duty-free stores. Travelers can enjoy attractions including: nature reserves, cultural attractions and golfing.
